The Manor of Packwoods is documented in the Domesday Book, beginning in 1066 with the 1st Lord Packwoods, Grim of Curling Tye, during the reign of Edward the Confessor. Of the fourteen holders of the feudal title, five have been women and nine have been men.

The Manor was originally 70 acres and many beautiful structures can be found across it today including: The Packwood House, Rivers Hall Manor, Cheshunts House, Boxted Church, Boxted House, and Boxted School. The town of Boxted is currently ran by a Council.

The current Lord Packwoods, whom was made known in the London Gazette, has taken on the task of keeping the memory and impacts of this manor (an incorporeal hereditament) alive and well by sharing information and history via social media.

He encourages all to enjoy the rich history of the Lordship of Packwoods, the historic Feudal System of Europe, and genealogy, which connects us all.

The 14th Lord Packwoods is also the 14th Lord Skeeby.

The Lord Packwoods has three major causes; humanitarian efforts in the Gbi Traditional Lands, book publishing, and maintaining the history of the Manor of Packwoods.

The goals are not possible without the support of donations and spreading the word. You can click above to visite and donate to the Royal House of Gbi Hohoe Ahado. You can click top/right to support by purchasing books. You can also click below to become a "Friend of the Manor of Packwoods" and donate to the continued work of all three causes.
