Royal Orders

There are two Royal Orders under the patronage of Her Royal Highness, Queen Adziwonor III.

Royal Order of Merit

The Order is defined as noble and chivalric. The principal objectives are both charity and preservation of the Royal House of Gbi Hohoe- Ahado, the people of the Stoollands and those connected to it in diaspora.  ​ -Be at least 18 years of age at time of application  -Be an upright citizen with steady employment -Be a practitioner of a learned profession or Armed Forces. -Be a retired professional or veteran.  -Be economically sound and capable of pledges and minimum passage   A petition for membership can be submitted by any member of the order or person meeting the above criteria. If nominated, the nominator must be a member in good standing of the Royal Order. Advancement within the Royal Order is based on activity within the Order and support to the Royal Projects. There are no annual membership dues. ​ RANKS OF THE ORDER: In ascension: Knight/Dame of the Royal Order of Merit (KOM/ DOM) Knight/Dame Officer of the Royal Order of Merit (KOOM/ DOOM) Knight/Dame Commander of the Royal Order of Merit (KCOM/ DCOM) Knight/Dame Grand Cross of the Royal Order of Merit (KCGOM/ DGCOM)

Royal Order of Adziwonor III

The Order is defined as noble and chivalric and is the high honor awarded to those who have significantly assisted the Royal House of Gbi Hohoe- Ahado. The community is made up of those distinguished in the capacities of charity, education, and worthy deeds. The principal objectives are both charity and preservation of the Royal House of Gbi Hohoe- Ahado, the people of the Stoollands and those connected to it in diaspora.  ​ Acceptance into the Royal Order is based on the assessment of one’s distinction and values. Basic qualifications are: -Be at least 30 years of age at time of application  -Be an upright citizen with steady employment -Be a practitioner of a learned profession or Armed Forces. -Be a retired professional or veteran.  -Be economically sound and capable of pledges and minimum passage   A petition for membership can be submitted by any member of the order or person meeting the above criteria. If nominated, the nominator must be a member in good standing of the Royal Order of Adziwonor III. Grand Knights and Grand Dames of this high Royal Order shall make a thanksgiving offering annually on the anniversary of the enstoolment of HRH Queen Adziwonor III. Minimum suggested donation will be set by the Chancellor of the Orders of the Royal House of Gbi Hohoe- Ahado.  ​ There is only one rank: Grand Collar of the Order of Adziwonor III (GCOA)
